We worship out of a historical building in Tracy established in 1931. GSCC was originally the home of First Covenant Church in 1961 and renamed Good Shepherd Community Church in 2005.
In 2008, Ivan Kirk was installed as the Senior Pastor of GSCC. Pastor Robert MacMillian and and his ministry joined GSCC the Eaton Campus and we have two great pastors spreading the gospel.
WE BELIEVE: in building godly relationships within the church family and an to those around us. As members of ONE BODY, we seek to preserve the unity of the Holy Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:3)
GSCC will be a light in our community, and a place of peace for those living in chaos, a home of forgiveness, a place of hope for the those that are hurting and seeking life changes that only the gospel of Jesus Christ can give. We want you to know that we are are here for you.
BIBLE: We believe the Bible is the very Word of God and that it is infallible and inerrant, giving us everything we need for life and godliness and equipping every true believer for every good work (Psalm 19:7–11; 2 Peter 1:3; Ephesians 4:11–16).
Because the Bible is living and active, we believe the Scriptures are relevant and authoritative for every generation.
The Word of God can address all issues one faces in this life and the life to come.
THE CHURCH: is paramount because of its absolute and utter uniqueness as God has revealed in His Word (Matthew 16:18).
It is His designation for the assembly of people called out by His name. As such, God has charted our course; He has planned our destiny; He has chosen our members; and He has defined our purpose.
Well there you have it!
